The experience I was going to have with my Illinois Bowhunt was going to be a phenomenal one! My landowner George gave me a UPS package to open and assemble. It took only a few minutes. Not knowing what it was, I began to read the directions. Let’s just say I could not believe what I was about to read.  Nonetheless, realize that I just came upon a product that would make my clothing scent free!

             I got it together just prior to the evening hunt and I was the first to use the MOXY Scent Slayer™.  (Ed. note:  This was a Demo Unit as the production models were not yet available.)  That very night, I was stuck in a tree until 9:10 PM with 5 bucks, ranging from 120" to 145" class, feeding right under me, making scrapes and raking their antlers in the tree, then feeding on the shingle oak acorns. I didn't want to spook them so waited it out. If I didn't have my video camera & the night vision option to record all this, no one would have believed me, plus the speed of the wind and its swirling directions of the blowing leaves! I had one hunting buddy who was leery of this Moxy Scent Slayer™ unit, but I used it every morning and before each evening hunt for the rest of the trip and my deer sightings increased 2 fold. I was seeing deer that I wouldn't have seen just spraying down with the normal cover scent. What changed my buddy's feelings on MOXY was that he sat in a tree 80 yards from me in perfect view watching the deer walk & feed right underneath me with a solid 10-15 mph wind & not having many deer come out by him, plus he was upwind of me. Mind you, I sat in a treestand that was maybe 9' off the ground due to not taking too kindly to heights and these deer were looking up in my direction and standing on their hind legs trying to eat the acorns off the tree. Towards the end of the hunt, my buddy was also using the Moxy Unit.

            Not only did this product sell me on its capabilities, it’s going to increase my chances of seeing those bigger, mature, nocturnal bucks by making my time more valuable in the woods and unnoticed! I think everyone will want to be MOXYfied...

Rock Gibboney was kind enough to send me one of his MOXY Scent Slayer units to demo on a number of clothing items of ours which were badly smoke damaged in a recent house fire.  

My first priority was to try it on my large and valuable assortment of hunting clothing.  I have quite a collection of King of the Mountain wool clothing, Rivers West garments, various Gore-Tex clothing items, mostly from Cabela's and a large number of hats and caps. All clothing items prior to treatment had a strong and obnoxious smoke odor. Everything got the MOXY treatment. 

I give the MOXY my highest recommendation for the rather miraculous effect it had on every single clothing item I treated.  It removed all traces of smoke from every item.  In a few instances, a badly smoke damaged item required two cycles of the MOXY, but the end result was the elimination of the strong smoke odor.  Everything came out smelling fresh and clean.
I really appreciated the MOXY's convenience and portability.  It is simple to use and extremely effective.  The MOXY saved me several hundreds of dollars in cleaning costs and undoubtedly thousands more if I had to replace all my hunting clothing.
